We present our stunning take on the Great Gatsby Jazz Band. This type of jazz band music from the 1920s and 1930’s goes under many names. Traditional Jazz and 1920’s Jazz Band. Speakeasy Jazz Band or Dixieland Jazz Band. And New Orleans Jazz band is yet another name. Rest assured, to all intents and purposes it is all the same thing. I hired the Mississippi Swamp Dogs to perform at the Belgravia Classic Car Show. It was the first time we’d run the event, so I wanted a band who understood the brief. Not only did they understand the brief, but they exceeded everybody’s expectations. They performed all over the gardens, and also did a set in the marquee. These are specialities of ours. The great thing with our Prohibition Jazz Band/Great Gatsby Jazz Band is we can adapt to your audience. Once your audience have done a few old style jazz dances they maybe wanting to dance to something a little more contemporary. Our band are willing and able to oblige. So, we know of no other band who can do this. Guests are kept happier because of this, and as we know, a happy set of guests equals a successful event!
