Sorry it’s taken a while to send this note but I have been a bit preoccupied. The family and I’d like to thank you and the other Swamp Dogs for your excellent playing at mum’s funeral. Meeting the hearse with music and walking her into the crem was really beautiful. It set the tone for a sad but uplifting send off. Having you play helped to make the service truly reflect the spirit of Eileen. The song during the service had people crying and smiling at the same time. And it was so nice to continue to the flower viewing area. So many people have said that it was a wonderful service and lots said it was the best funeral they’ve ever been to! Even the funeral director took a photo!
